My motion; quick and persisting
My direction, exhaustively shifting
My visions, blurred by illusions
My soul, shrouded in confusion
Fleeing the flesh that once held liberation,
a sensation free from exasperation
Unreliable, my eyes as they're mislead by appartions
My astral body wanders,
amidst spectral nebulas
forever lost yonder
within the cauldron of the cosmos
forever lost yonder
Unreliable, my eyes as they're mislead by apparitions
Weightless, a birth to a new beginning
In search of life, I scream out loud, seeking shelter from the oppressive radiance of Sol,
Returning to the void of nonexistence as my voice is silenced by the cruel vacuum of space

Jordan Vauvert

I've been slowing working my way through Sadness' discography and it's crazy how he makes "depressive" black metal sound so beautiful. It's like the frigidness of early Coldworld mixed with the dreamy and lighter parts of Alcest. This one is the best I've heard from this band so far. Ryan
An outstanding slab of atmospheric black metal, “Sisyphus” cannily blends texture and terror for a gripping final product. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2021
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023

Jordan Vauvert
